A small private courtyard to relax at the end of a long touring day and has adjoining room if you are with family. Great location - close to most of all the historic and religious sites. Minutes away from the Mamila Mall. Everything you need - right there

Best location for exploring the old city....Jerusalem
I just returned from a month-long stay in Jerusalem, renting this apartment for the entire month. It is a 10 minute walk to Jaffa Gate which is a 5 minute walk to the Millimam Mall. I'm not into shopping so, other than the Super Pharm, I never went into any of the stores. However, there is a nice variety of restaurants that will satisfy a variety of taste palettes. From Habad Street, a blue wooden door hides a small courtyard shared by three apartments. The door remains locked and allows for sitting in this area, reading, and listening to the talking, laughing, whistling, singing, silent scores of humanity that are passing by right on the other side of the blue door. Walking into the apartment is a small cooking area (hot plate and toaster oven). Around a wall divider is the bedroom with two single beds that can be treated as one king. Off the bedroom is a bathroom with a shower. There is also a small outdoor patio that is not shared with any one else.
Living in the Jewish Quarter was a treat unto itself. I'm not Jewish, but soon learned the importance of observing Shabbat. EVERYTHING in the Jewish Quarter closes on Shabbat, indeed much of the larger city of Jerusalem closes on Shabbat.
The old city is divided into quarters...Armenian, Christian, Jewish, and Muslim. While I rarely knew in which quarter I was walking. However, if it's Shabbat and you suddenly start seeing shops and restaurants open, know that you are no longer in the Jewish Quarter. A refocus on the apartment.......
The beds are comfortable, the refrigerator is small, but adequate. Perhaps the greatest attribute of this apartment is Margit. She answered all of my questions with haste and resolved any minor issue I had.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT.
