Interaction with guests:Â My husband Mauriel and I live near by about 10 min drive. We are available to our guests at all times. We meet our guests upon arrival and welcome them. The apartment's phone is available for all domestic calls as well as to communicate with us.
We take personal care at the apartment and we do our best to help our guests in any matter big or small.
A beautiful apartment in a beautiful area, close to the Old City
We loved our stay in this neighborhood! The people, the restaurants, the access to the Old City, it's all terrific. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable. Use the free parking in back of the building, shop at the grocery across the street, eat delicious bagels a few doors down, gelato for dessert down the street.
Comfortable rooms, all necessities provided. Excellent!!

as advertised-could be a little cleaner
This apartment is located in the Emek Refaim neighborhood. It is pleasant, spacious, and well appointed. The owners make every effort to be helpful, although please be advised that they will charge extra for cleaning during your stay.
My only issue is that they should engage a professional cleaning service; the apartment is a bit dirty but that might have only been for my visit; previous reviews stated the opposite. In general, I would say this is a very pleasant place to stay in Jerusalem.

Great location
I stayed here with my family for three days. This is a great location, especially if you plan to visit the old city. It is also very near shops and bus routes to elsewhere. Clean appartment and quiet and family friendly neighbourhood. The owners were extremely helpful.

Nice apartment, good location
We enjoyed our stay in Jerusalem at this lovely apartment. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very nice. There were restaurants and grocery stores nearby within 5 min walking. The old city was about 10 min taxi ride.

Wonderful location; great hosts; lovely apartment.
I was in Jerusalem for an educational program that took place in the German Colony. For my purposes, this was a great rental. Dalit and Mauriel were attentive, responding quickly to any concerns. When an appliance didn't work, they got it fixed immediately. The location, right on Emek Refaim, couldn't be beat. The apartment was light and airy, and the A/C worked well (essential in a Jerusalem summer). I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Prime Location
A wonderful apartment, in a prime location in Jerusalem made our stay there most enjoyable. The apartment had everything that we needed and Mauriel and Dalit went out of their way to make us comfortable. This apartment, though not very large, was more than adequate for the two of us as well as the company( 4 teenagers) we had for dinner on several occasions. Even though it is on a busy street it faced the back and was quiet. The accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and buses fitter needs perfectly.We would recommend the apartment to anyone and would certainly stay there again.

Perfect for our needs
I stayed in this guest house with four of my extended family members who were visiting from abroad. It was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and convenient and the parking was a great addition! Because it was close many of the major sites that my family wanted to visit, we could stop in at the apartment to make our lunch or have an afternoon rest if we needed. The owner was very accommodating- first by calling a local shop and asking them to stay open until we could get there to buy a plug adapter and then by being flexible about the check out time since we didn't need to be at the airport until the evening. Thanks so much!

The perfect place for us!
My friend and I needed a place to stay that was centrally located for the weekend preceding a course at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. This place was perfect - just the way it looked in the pictures - and really quiet. Our hosts, Dalit and Mauriel, couldn't have been nicer - they thought of everything and even arranged a taxi driver for us - also very nice and very handy. The apartment was clean, bright, and quiet - just as advertised, and we spent a lovely time there. I would surely go back there again.

LOCATION, Location, location
This one bedroom on Emek Refaim in Jerusalem is quiet; it is positioned at the back of the building facing Rechov Rekevet (the converted train tracks now serving as a park for walking, jogging, and exercise). Outstanding place with easy access to great restaurants, stores, and even an enjoyable walk to the Old City. The landlords (Dalit & Moriel) are very hospitable) who go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. The apartment is simple, clean, and the price is very affordable. I stayed there over Shabbat with my daughter (5 nights) and would certainly go back in the future.

Terrific
59 Emek Rafaim is excellent. We stayed for 12 nights and really hated to leave. Very clean, comfortably furnished, a full kitchen ( meat and dairy), one block from the bus, cafes and restaurants all in a few blocks, as well as supermarkets. Moriel and Dalit were wonderful hosts and really helped to make our stay perfect. The washing machine was a great thing to have and everything dried overnight on the drying rack. They even provided the detergent! We definitely hope to rent there again.

The apartment is located in the center of the German Colony a beautiful neighborhood. In proximity to Jerusalem's trendy shops, bars and (kosher) Restaurants (3 min). In walking distance to the Old-City (30 min), and the Jerusalem Theatre (15min). The bus to city center is across the street. The apartment views the promenade/park of the old Railway line. Despite its central location it is quiet and not facing the main street.
On site free and safe parking.
1 block from Orthodox synagogue (3 min )
How to get there
The apartment is located on 59th Emek Refaim st. It is on the first floor approximately 14 steps up. (No elevator) Parking is on the back side of the building just bellow the apartment.
Lines: 14, 18 and 7 arrive near by. We can also assist in coordination of special taxi to and from the apartment with reduced fees, just let us know.
