I wanted a downtown apartment and this one fit the bill. It is large, recenltly totally remodeled including new windows, floors, doors. and the wifi is excellent. The owner has it well stocked with towels, blankets, and some glassware. New elevator (small). The building is on a busy street (day and night) but was easy enough to find. Ask owner to send a photo of front doors to make it easier to locate. Owner is FANTASTIC. I had one very small issue with something which I found broken, and he came immediately to replace it. He is helpful, pleasant and English-speaking. Service above and beyond what one expects from the landlord of a short term rental. I felt a great deal of privacy...there are not a lot of people coming in and out of the building. Flat is on the 5th floor affording additional privacy, but that does not prevent street noise from infiltrating the unit.

The host is very kindly, helpful and available anytime. The apartment was very clean and with all necessary. Very nice experience I recommend it to all travelers looking for a beautiful, comfortable and clean environment.

We only had a 2 night stay here but it is very central and near everywhere we wanted to go. Every question and direction was answered by Mohamed quickly. Personally I found Cairo big and dirty that is why I called the flat an oasis, as you climb those stairs in for us (British) a very dusty dirty building you wonder what to expect , then you open the door to a lovely clean specious flat . I don’t think the photos do the flat justice. And the pros and cons of those stairs - well it kept the noise down from outside- even if was a hike up .

We had a great time in Cairo as this apartment is very central. Baba was very kind and ensured we had blankets. The bed linen was spotless. The flat was clean and very big. Only downside was that the kitchen boiler didn't heat the water well and you've to rely on a water pump. I'd recommend this flat to anyone unless you've a mobility problem as it's five floors up. The pros definitely outweighed the cons as you could easily get to Abdein Palace Museum, Egyptian museum, Talaat Harb square etc. It's full of character in the area with shops such as bakery, pharmacy and lovely fresh vegetables. I really felt at home here and we met a lovely couple from Serbia and Romania in the next flat. The other flats are also inhabited by residents so it doesn't feel impersonal. I think it was value for money. I'd definitely use the flat again Medo and Baba were efficient and friendly and I'll stay in the flat in Alexandria and this one in Cairo again.

Très bel appartement. Très propre. Très bon accueil malgré une arrivée tardive de notre part.Nous avons entendu un peu les bruits de la rue la nuit mais c est bien normal au Caire.Total satisfaction. Parfait.

Estuve como en mi casa. El apartamento es como en las fotos, de estancias amplias, cómodo, limpio, abastecido de detalles como sábanas, cubiertas, toallas, detergente, lavavajillas, cocina con todo lo necesario. Además algún detalle que faltaba el propietario muy amable me lo facilitó tras comentarle. Excelente estancia!

Excelente acogida, ayuda en cualquier cosa que se presente durante la estancia en El Cairo. El apartamento es limpio, cómodo y bonito. Perfectamente equipado con ropa de hogar y utensilios de cocina, todo en perfecto estado. Dispone de calefacción y/o aire acondicionado. Situación excelente para llegar a pie a casi todo lo que hay que visitar en El Cairo y muy cercano al metro. Zona muy segura, céntrica y agradable, con bares y restaurantes a proximidad, ofrece todas las comodidades y servicios.

L'appartamento dispone di tutto l'occorrente in ottime condizioni ed è pulito. Il proprietario è davvero gentile e disponibile per ogni esigenza. La posizione è centralissima e comodissima per raggiungere tutti i principali luoghi di interesse.
