nDalem Natan Royal Heritage is a heritage house built in 1857, located in Kotagede, the former capital city of an old Javanese Kingdom. Combining the elegance of European and Javanese architectural style, a mixture of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, it was previously owned by a wealthy merchant family. In 2006 the house was ruined by earthquake, but since 2016 has been carefully restored and beautifully furnished. The house now serves as cultural hub, guest house, art & craft galleries, and cafe.
The public areas of the house sometimes are rented for events. Otherwise, the house is quiet.
