Recently renovated baroque manor house with pool and gardens of 4.5 acres. 800m from coast and 5km from Dubrovnik.

Villa Nikolina is a recently renovated Dubrovnik baroque manor house situated on a small hill just 5km from the enchanting southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik. The villa was built in the 17th century by a local nobleman, and consists of the main house, outbuildings and a family chapel. The beautifully proportioned villa, painted in traditional Venetian red with Dubrovnik green shutters, is surrounded by four and a half acres (20000 square metres) of parkland and woodland.

We had a fantastic stay in this superb Villa. Ideal for our Daughter as the pool is in a protected area. Nikolina, our host, was incredibly helpful and kept us stocked up with her stock of wine. The trips which were organised were spot on, the boat trip probably the highlight. Also would recommend the chefs Nikolina organised, truly a godsend when you want to enjoy a slice of luxury without venturing out.

Reviewed 29 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

I just returned from our stay at Villa Gorica in Mlini, where we spent a week with my extended family. We were 5 grownups and 4 children. The house is fantastic surrended by a beautiful garden with a private pool, a badmington court, a boule field and a barbeque area. We spent a lot of time outside as the weather was very warm during our stay. The inside of the house is also very nicely furnitured and has all you would need for a comfortable vacation. The villa has 5 bedrooms with double beds. Hovewer, only 3 of them had a proper aircondition solution. As we are used to colder temperatures in Scandinavia, this was the only dissapointment about the house for our sake. The owner, Nikolina, lives next door with her family. She is a very attentive and warm person who looked very well after us during our stay. She gave us great advises about where to eat, which beaches to visit and she was also very helpful with bookings and making arrangements for us. The last day of our stay (Saturday...

About the neighbourhood
Described as the pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik will not fail to impress with great City walls rising out of the brilliant Adriatic against a backdrop of steep mountainsides. Within the walls of the old town are some fine architecture and lively streets crammed with shops, cafes and restaurants. Walk the City walls to enjoy the beautiful roofscape of the old town and the seascape beyond. Visit the Franciscan and Dominican monasteries and stroll down the cobbled streets and alleyways or relax in the cafes. During the summer months the Dubrovnik festival hosts concerts on most nights providing music of all types.
