This hidden gem in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town provides a true oasis to retire to, after strolling around the Old Town, going to the beach, dining, or partying. It is footsteps away from the main plaza Stradun and, unusually for Dubrovnik, there are no stairs to climb to get to it, apart from those in the building. Esma is located in the attic of a centuries' old house, located above a great pizzeria Baracuda and a pasta place Toni's. The apartment has just undergone a complete overhaul. There is now a spacious open plan apartment with separate bedroom and bathroom. It is a very bright attic apartment and will provide you the central location and home comforts. The lounge wall has been restored to its original look. The bathroom now has a walk-in shower. The apartment is perfect...This hidden gem in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town provides a true oasis to retire to, after strolling around the Old Town, going to the beach, dining, or partying. About the neighbourhood
As one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Dubrovnik owes its special charm to the historic monuments which testify to its rich history. The works of the artists, writers and scientists of Dubrovnik have been woven into the texture of the city, whose tourist reputation and attractiveness are based on its culture. Numerous highly valuable churches and other sacral objects, the city walls, fortresses and museums of Dubrovnik enchant every visitor to this ancient city. Among many cultural events including exhibitions, concerts and plays, particularly prominent is the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, with its musical and theatrical performances taking place in numerous open-air venues.
How to get there
Most of the guests arrive by plane, as many world’s airlines offer affordable flights to Dubrovnik, particularly from April to October. Dubrovnik has excellent boat connections to other Croatian harbours and to Bari Harbour in Italy. If travelling by car, tourists travelling from Central Europe can reach Dubrovnik driving through the beautiful nature, glorious mountain sights and green rivers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If they drive from the West, they can follow the Adriatic route and enjoy the magnificent views of the Adriatic Sea and its islands.
