Feel free to visit our website for many details and helpful information not available here. SigaSiga is pronounced “Sing –a Sing –a” meaning Sunshine. On arrival, you will experience a calm, relaxing feeling where ponds meander through this beautifully landscaped coconut plantation and the sound of the distant ocean waves hitting the beautiful outside reef soothe your soul. The well-kept grounds include trim lawns, fruit trees and colorful flowers. We also have a large Oceanfront Park set on Savusavu’s favorite White Sand Beach (high and low tides). You also have 99 acres of pristine SigaSiga Forest Reserve out your back door to wander and exercise through 2km/1.2mi of unspoiled wilderness alongside the natural creeks where exotic flora and fauna thrive. Whether you're looking to 'Get Away from it All' or enjoy a fun-filled vacation with plenty of activities, SigaSiga Sands is all you’ll ever need or desire. Enjoy the restaurants, shops and farmer’s market in town just 15 min drive or FJ$13 taxi ride. This beachfront country setting leaves you spellbound by the pure peaceful beauty of the blue pacific ocean, the sunrises and sunsets, (property faces south) and the awesome starlit skies of the southern hemisphere nights. You’ll feel right at home in this 2 bedroom cottage built and quality designed by the plantation owner. Of course, we have remodeled it yet retained the old charm. (Please see our website for other size accommodation choices) All cottages have full kitchens with extraordinary furnishings and modern amenities. Our delicious Indo-Fijian Cuisine menu will delight your senses and Room Service is available when you may wish to avoid the well equipped kitchen. Optional Meals are delivered Fresh and Hot to your suite. It’s about a 1 min walk over trim grass paths to the beach where you’ll find loungers, hammocks, the thatched Comfort Room (toilet) hut & spring water shower. It's 5-10 min walk to the swimming lagoon; 15 min walk to the snorkeling lagoon at low tide. Or, just relax on your spacious veranda and enjoy the panoramic ocean view and consistent sea breezes. Interaction with guests
While SigaSiga Sands is in a country setting, you won't feel totally isolated since the manager lives in his own cottage onsite and the resident caretaker staff is nearby. While we are readily available with a phone call (landline telephone included!) we will not intrude and you will enjoy your privacy.

About the neighbourhood
SigaSiga Sands is located in a rural part of Fiji's second largest island. Savusavu is home to over half of Fiji's coconut trees nationwide. Many large 'copra' (coconut) plantations cover the hillsides with small friendly fijian villages interlaced through the countryside. We are 10 min from Savusavu (SVU) airport and another 5 min to Savusavu town on Savusavu Bay.
Getting around
Transportation is easy here. When the mood strikes you to catch a glimpse of civilization in the quaint little bayfront town of Savusavu, you've got 3 options. There are bi-hourly buses (FJ$1.60pp) passing nearby with a bus shelter on the highway. You can call a courteous, punctual, affordable, metered taxi. Sigasiga to SSV town taxi fare is about FJ$13.50 one way. And, there's plenty of rental cars available in town.
