Bathroom has a full size bath and separate shower cubicle, the shower is instant electric. Towels are supplied. There are two bedrooms, 1 double, 1 single with comfortable beds. Both front and rear gardens are fully enclosed and each have seating areas. Rear garden has an established pond. Secure storage is available for bicycles and other outdoor equipment. Each room is tastefully decorated and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen has a double oven electric cooker with ceramic hob, combination microwave oven. Extras include supply of tea coffee, sugar, etc.. A selection of other essentials are also available for your use. In addition to the electric central heating the lounge has an electric coal effect stove with the option of additional heat or just a cosy glow.

Muir of Ord is approximately 12 miles from the city of Inverness and is on the western perimeter of the Black Isle, which is in fact a peninsula and is adjacent to Inverness. Its central location makes it an ideal location for touring the Highlands and Islands. Both the train station station and bus route are only a 5 minute walk for the bungalow. The village has a selection of grocers shops, a butchers, pharmacy, bakers, library, filling station, 2 churches and a Doctors Surgery. There is a chip-shop and an Indian take-away. Nearby are a fine selection of hotels and restaurants. Ord Distillery which is located on the edge of the village welcomes visitors and offers tours during the summer months.
