Such a homely, cosy little cottage, in a lovely village. Yards from a really nice pub (Bridge End Inn) too, which I suggest you use a lot in case you need to use their car park, as parking can be a bit tricky some days....More

At last! I've been trying to get back in Ramblers Rest for ages, but it's always booked up! Had another great week in Crickhowell, despite the weather - always nice to come home to such a cosy and welcoming cottage. Can't beat it!

Cottage was nice and comfy good facilities great location TV was awful so old really un watchable think I now have a sqint. Supposed to be dog friendly and I was going to book again but on arrival home got told I left dog poo...More

Thank you for your comments. All rather strange really, because you mentioned a slight buzzing noise on some TV channels, and then said that it hadn't been a problem and was easy to use! We have checked the TV, and it it is absolutely fine....More

The cottage sleeps up to four adults, and is well appointed throughout, having been accredited Four Stars by the Welsh Tourist Board. ***SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE*** The accommodation comprises: Ground floor Sitting Room with television/DVD and CD player, comfortable sofa and chairs Fully equipped Kitchen with cooker, microwave oven, washing machine, dining table and chairs. Walk-in pantry with fridge/freezer and plenty of storage space. Bathroom; with WC and bath with shower over First floor Bedroom 1 double bedded room Bedroom 2 twin bedded room (3ft beds) There is a pretty and secluded garden with views of the Llangattock escarpment. The garden is totally enclosed and very safe for children, and is equipped with garden furniture and B B Q. We have provided a selection of maps and local guide books for visitors to use. Ramblers Rest cottage is looked after and maintained by the owners, to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect break. There is parking just outside the property or a few yards away. The cottage is only available as NO smoking accommodation. Also, due to the nature of the property and its quiet residential setting, we regret that the cottage is not suitable for stag or hen parties. Crickhowell High Street is one of the few shopping streets left in the country, with local businesses selling 'local' produce and products - there are no empty shops! Crickhowell is the overall winner in the Best British High Street Awards 2018!
