Interaction with guests:Â Me or my husband Federico will personally welcome you, we live in the same house at the groundfloor. Should we not be able to do it, somebody else will be here and you'll be informed and have all the necessary contacts.
Wunderbar kreativ und liebevoll renoviertes Kartshaus in Slowenien, nahe Triest von grosser Wiesenfläche und Obstbäumen umgeben. Ideal für Tagesausflüge nach Italien und in Slowenien. Im ersten Stock liegt die Gästewohnung mit grossem Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer samt Zugang zum Balkon. Ein luftiges, schönes Elternschlafzimmer und ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das geräumige Badezimmer mit Dusche und Bidet rundet das Ganze ab. Alles ist in neuem, modernem Standard hergerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sehr grosszügig und abwechslungsreich von Francesca täglich frisch zubereitet. Jeder Wunsch der Gäste wird umgesetzt, die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt uns wertvolle touristische Informationen. Wir haben uns überaus wohlgefühlt und wünschen Francesca und Federico viele tolle, freundliche Gäste, die diese Unterkunft zu schätzen wissen!

New year's vecations!
With friends, we greeted the New Year in the atmosphere that can not be described! Here we stopped for the second time and is far from the last! House and hospitality at the level of a luxury hotel, which is at the heart of a small village surrounded by Kras landscape. Here you can taste great wine Teran, by serving in the immediate vicinity, offered an excellent ham! Only three kilometers away is the perfect view point Kamenjak, from where you can see Triglav and the beach ... definitely an excellent excursion to stop, where to sleep well and enjoy an excellent breakfast prepared by Francesca and Federico! Prachtige, smaakvol ingerichte B&B, (Beautiful, very tasteful furnishings)
Francesca is a perfect host. She showed us the way to unknown interesting places to sea. (Cividale, f.i.)
The breakfast was amazing.
There is always good music in the house.
We 'felt at home' immediatly'; shame we couldn't stay longer.

Lovely and peaceful hub
Francesca is an excellent host and the place is fantastic! From there you can visit Trieste, the beaches and neighboring places! Definitively to be recommended if you're looking for a peaceful place immersed in nature and a traditional country style village.

Alles Super!!
Eine Superferienwohnung mit 2 Schlafräumen und einem Bad mit Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Balkon.
Besonders möchten wir das von Francesca liebevoll hergerichtete Frühstück erwähnen.

Eine Idylle
Schon der Empfang durch Francesca war so herzlich! Ihre positive Einstellung und Lebensfreude ist im gesamten Haus mit all seinen liebevollen Details zu spüren.
Uns stand zu zweit der gesamte erste Stock zur Verfügung, über den riesigen Wohnbereich mit Pelletsofen samt Balkon waren wir begeistert.
An den kühleren Abenden sorgte Francesca dafür, dass wir es wohlig warm hatten, wenn wir von unseren Ausflügen retour kamen.
A propos Ausflüge: Nach einem Blick auf unsere alten Räder hat uns Francesca sofort ihr eigenes Fahrrad angeboten und uns mit Beleuchtung ausgestattet. Ihre Tipps zu Ausflügen und Gaststätten in der Umgebung haben wir sehr gerne angenommen und haben uns sehr angesprochen.
Ein weiteres Highlight war das Frühstück, mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, frischem Brot und Gebäck, Käse aus der Region, selbstgemachten Marmeladen - alles liebevoll dekoriert mit frischen Kräutern aus dem Garten.
Wir sind begeistert!!!

We loved the peace and solitude, the beautiful scenery, and the feeling of being in a genuine old Slovenian village.
This is a lovely apartment, on the first floor of a renovated old karst house located in a tiny village just across the border from Italy. We loved the peace and solitude, the beautiful scenery, and the feeling of being in a genuine old Slovenian village. Yet at the same time, it is only a short drive to good supermarkets and large towns, and within easy access of many of Slovenia's main tourist spots. The living room is huge with a very high ceiling. It leads out onto a balcony in the shade of a walnut tree, and there is a great view from the living room main window. We also had use of the large garden and the patio. The whole apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean, and we had a great breakfast every morning made particularly good by the delicious homemade cakes and jams. Francesca and Federico are charming hosts and very helpful with advice on what to do. We had a lovely time in this apartment. It has a great atmosphere and we would definitely recommend it.

A voler descrivere questo luogo di vacanze viene da pensare ad un luogo del cuore, accogliente, confortevole, lontano dal solito tram tram eppure ad un passo da città belle e interessanti. Un casale recuperato al sicuro abbandono e restaurato e curato nei minimi dettagli, che lo rendono al contempo antico e moderno, semplice ma ricercato. Avrete modo di apprezzare le luculliane e deliziose colazioni preparate da Francesca, con la quale potrete intrattenervi a conversare di ricette e buona musica. Io ci tornerei adesso. Ma ci tornerò, ci torneremo. Presto. Prestissimo. Non perdete l'occasione. Andateci.

It is recommended to come by car, since public transports don't get here. Anyway Monfalcone train station is at 15 min by car (from there straight trains to Trieste, Venice, Verona, etc.) and Trieste Airport at 20 min. You can also reach us by bycicle, very nice mtb routes here, not the simplest and easiest roads, we are at the top of a hill. Feel free to ask for info and advice.
