‘The Coul Hoose’ is an attractive, two bedroom, self-catering holiday cottage located in the small village of Embo, just 3 miles northeast of Dornoch. Refurbished and awarded a 4-star rating by Visit Scotland in 2016, the cottage includes everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing break in the Highlands. The interior of the property has been fitted out in a comfortable “country cottage” style including rugs, throws and cushions handmade by the owner! Wifi is available throughout the property. Dogs are welcome (by prior arrangement) but are subject to a fee of £25 per week / £4 per night. So, how did we end up in Embo? We knew we wanted to go up to the highlands and we wanted to bring our dog with us. He's not seen the sea, so for him to play on the beach was a treat beyond gravy...More
