About the neighbourhood
The 3 story home is located on Cayo Costa Island State Park. This island is in Southwest Florida within Lee County. The unbridged island is 2,000 acres, 98% owned by the State of Florida. It is 7 miles long and has 9 miles of undeveloped beaches. This tropical pristine island is in a completely natural state and is the largest undeveloped island in Florida. The house has been called a luxury wilderness beach house. It has most of the modern conveniences in a home in a very remote location. You will be staying on a real island with no connections to the mainland. You will have quick access to a natural beach (300 yards in front of house) where shelling, beachcombing and swimming are some of the best in the world. There is easy access to catch snook, redfish, trout, whiting, pompano, mullet,...
Getting around
All terrain vehicles are used to get to the beach and State Park Camp Store which sells bait, ice and other gifts. ATVs cannot be used on the beach only to get to the beach.
