    We invite you to visit 'ALOFT.' We're located in a state park, and only 35% of Jekyll Island can be developed. Our property is situated on a quiet street, nestled between the marshlands and stately oak and pine forests. This beautiful 1000 square foot loft has a private entrance and on-site parking. The interior was renovated in 2009 but retained an open floor plan with hardwood floors and a cantina style design. The comfortable queen bed and light, airy but rustic setting creates a splendid isolation get-away for 1 or 2.

    ALoft was Charming and Peaceful; Clean and Quiet; the ambiance was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived!!! Michael and Pamela were wonderful Hosts.     Been to Jekyll before so I knew the area. This was a lot nicer then a hotel stay. Felt more like a home, quiet, no traffic in the area, friendly hosts! Will stay here again the next time we visit!

    Michael & Pamela are absolutely wonderful host. The loft is quiet, clean and a perfect place to relax. Tucked away in a quiet residential area, the Aloft has easy access to everything on the island. We will certainly visit again!

    'ALOFT' is located in a state park, and only 35% of Jekyll Island can be developed. We are surrounded by marshlands and the sea. Our property is situated on a quiet street, nestled between the marshlands and stately oak and pine forests.

    Just one minute away you'll discover the 18 miles of bike trails surrounding the island. You can bike to the fishing pier and beach and arrive in five minutes. Or, you may want to visit the Historic District, where over 300 millionaires once lived. They built homes and a Club House on our island, beginning in 1888. They typically spent 3-5 months down here yearly for the next 54 years. Their homes are being restored and many can be visited and appreciated.
