Cottage
Al cosy south facing cottage, which has plenty of natural light. The unique living area blends simple living with a restful atmosphere. The kitchen has a very french look with copper saucepans and a Belfast sink complimenting the wooden surfaces and original 19th century furniture. The main bedroom has old wooden beams and a comfy double bedstead. The small bedroom is equipped with a wrought iron day bed with trundle. The bathroom has a shower and a small bath....Al cosy south facing cottage, which has plenty of natural light. The unique living area blends simple living with a restful atmosphere. We had a fantastic holiday in this charming and cosy cottage extremely close to the harbour and pubs in the centre of Lympstone. The property is newly renovated, clean and well equipped for cooking at home. We mainly ate out at the Swan or Redwing...More

About the neighbourhood
The village of Lympstone sits on the Exe Estuary which is a haven for bird life. There is still a local fisherman who brings in his catch and sells it at the harbour on a Thursday. The village is close to the seaside resort of Exmouth, with its miles of golden sandy beaches and six miles from the city of Exeter.
Getting around
The local train station provides a service to Exmouth which takes less than five minutes, or the other direction to Exeter and stop at the pretty town of Topsham for some local shopping with plenty of bars and restaurants to whet your appetite. Also Lympstone is on the well known estuary cycle path which runs alongside the railway lines. If you want to go sailing or kayaking please enquire at the sailing club.
