The house is wonderful, one of the nicest we've stayed in. It is very well equipped and maintained. The setting is very quiet with a great pool that is never too busy.
The village is about a 10 minute walk down a steep hill, good exercise on the way back after a big meal!
Salema is a lovely fishing village, big sandy beach and good choice of restaurants. It is necessary to book the restaurants to ensure a table but this is easy to do by phone or popping in a few days in advance.
It was very windy for the first few days of our visit (but very sunny) which made the sea feel very cold and eating outside in the evening a bit uncomfortable without an extra layer. Sea temperature fine when wind died down.
We managed a couple of walks, the one to Burgau along the coast path was nice, easy to order taxi for return trip.
Drive from airport very straightforward and roads were quiet.
