The property is amazing with a great view of the bay, especially from the living room area. The property manager, Gabe, is super helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend booking golf carts as the house is on a hill and a bit out of town. Also they are super fun to rip around.

What an incredible stay at Casa Vela. I stayed here with 10 of my friends for my bachelor party and it was the perfect place for a large group. Gabriel helped us set uo everything we need. Boats, carts, chef’s you name it he was on the spot. The staff were amazing and so attentive to every detail. I’ll remember this trip for the rest of my life thank yoh cassie gabriel and casa vela team!

What a perfect house for a large group! We had 10+ people stay here and several people even got their own rooms. The indoor/outdoor nature of the house was amazing. We also had a private yoga instructor come and run a class in the beautiful new level.

I spend hours upon hours reading reviews of properties before I book them and I am here to tell you this is hands down better than not only the reviews but the pictures! The decor is beyond any rental I have ever stayed in and the housekeepers that come everyday keep it spotlessly clean. Gabriel is so helpful and always there to help in anyway. He had our golf carts waiting for us at the villa (a must to get around Sayulita), arranged drivers to and from the airport and responded quickly to our every need. If you are traveling with other couples, the layout is perfect. Every bedroom is ensuite - many on different levels - with refrigerators and a jug of purified drinking water. The only thing to note is in the 2 bedroom casita you have to pass through the shared bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. Not a big deal if you are family but if you are traveling with other couples and need the 6th bedroom it would be a little awkward. We scheduled 2 nights with local private chefs - lots of fun, delicious and certainly worth doing. For the best tacos in town you must eat at Il Itacate and get the arrachera tacos!!! All and all it was a great trip to Sayulita but Casa Vela made it amazing!!! We would all go back in a hearbeat!

Went for my 40th birthday party with friends and it was a perfect experience! Gabriel was there to welcome us and give us a full rundown of the house. The whole place was run as well as a hotel.
Highly recommend renting golf carts as the hill is quite steep to walk up daily plus the golf carts definitely made the experience!
Would definitely recommend.

Property, views rooms it was all a very positive experience that we would do again. Our host Gabriel was very attentive and met all of our needs and requirements. Our golf cart ran out of juice and they personally went to retrieve it and take care of it. They really didn't outstanding job.

Amazing view, great overall accommodations. A couple of things we wish we would have known. 1) In the upstairs apartment not much privacy as it is a walk through bathroom between bedrooms, basically one of the bedrooms is the livingroom. 2) The pool was ice cold and would benefit from some sort of solar heater, this was really the main “issue” with the house. Not a problem overall as the place was amazing but it was disappointing. 3) The pictures on the listing need to be updated as the pool area downstairs has been converted to a dance floor. Actually this was a bonus as we definitely used that space however the listing still shows pictures of 2 pools.

The house is gorgeous. Each room is unique, with beautiful art work. Incredible view. There is not a 2nd pool, in its place is a wonderful yoga/event room.
Highly recommend a golf cart. It’s functional and fun!
