My wife and I stayed at Podere Le Baruti for a week the first week of June.
It is near Moncioni, a small town situated on top of a mountain to which
it takes a while to get to over the small winding roads from Montevarchi.
Podere Le Baruti is located near the bottom of the mountain side which
is accessed by car down a long steep narrow dirt road. The grounds are
nicely maintained. The owner was very courteous and helpful; however,
he speaks very little English but he speaks fluent German and Italian.
The hostess who is responsible for the bookings and who speaks English was
absent during our visit due to a family situation.
The structure contains, I believe, three living areas. Le Baruti, where
we stayed, another rental area below us, and the living area of the owners,
above us. Inside, it is nicely decorated, with a kitchen/dining/living room
