The Coor-Bishop Dependency is a restored servants’ residence built in 1810. Half a block from the Neuse River on a quiet street in Historic Downtown New Bern, this 2 bedroom house with antique decor. Upstairs are two bedrooms (queen and full beds), an updated full bath with antique charm, and a reading area with a view of the river. Downstairs, enjoy meals in a 1930's style kitchen, with fully-functioning vintage gas stove, and separate dining room. Relax in either of the two sitting rooms and one with natural gas logs or you can relax on the screened-in porch overlooking the garden. Children over 12 welcome. Nikki and Marty are great hosts. They guided us in things to do in the area and shared the history of the property and the area. They made us feel really welcome and yet let us have our space to enjoy time with our daughter....More
