Naworth has a well equipped kitchen/breakfast room, and the family bathroom and one twin bedroom are also located on the ground floor, with an open plan living /dining area and a king size bedroom upstairs. Local events: Alston sheepdog trials and Gala day in June, Alston agricultural show in September, Garrigill bonfire night in November and Christmas craft fair first weekend in December.
How to get there
The nearest international airport is Newcastle (approx. 1 hour's drive) where you can easily hire a car. Travelling by train, there are bus connections from Carlisle or we may be able to meet you from Penrith, Hexham or Darlington stations. Travelling by car: 35minutes from Penrith (A686), 45 minutes from Carlisle( A689), approximately an hour from Newcastle upon Tyne and from Scotch Corner (via A66 and B6277)
