This stunning barn conversion is situated in the beautiful, unspoilt South Tyne Valley on the Cumbria/Northumberland border. Skilfully undertaken and refurbished to a high standard the holiday property retains charm and character offering a mix of traditional structure and contemporary design. It stands proudly across the courtyard from the owner’s home and 1800-acre working sheep farm in the North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect stay. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Well equipped. Hosts Paul and Trish are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. They even fitted a baby gate for our toddler and when WiFi went down after a storm they called someone out to fix it...More

Broadmea is located on the A689 5 miles north of Alston. Newcastle Upon Tyne is the nearest international airport a 1 hour drive from Broadmea. Haltwhistle, the nearest train station is a 15 minute drive. Carlisle train station is 28 miles from Broadmea. A bus service operates between Slaggyford and Carlisle or Haltwhistle and also the Lake District.
