Birk how can be found in the village of Eskdale Green and is an ideal base for a family or group of friends to explore the Western Lake district. The house is in an elevated position and offers spectacular views across to Birker Fell and down the Eskdale Valley. There are numerous walks for you to enjoy and Wastwater, our nearest Lake, is less than a 10 minute drive away. Birk How is furnished in traditional Lake District style complete with open fires and a wood burning stove. The Cottage will comfortably sleep 6. This part of the Lake District is less commercialised than other areas. A perfect Lake break. Cottage had everything we needed as a family of five to have a comfortable and relaxed stay. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Lovely location - wonderful views from cottage. Convenient for walks, the Eskdale railway and the local village shop. Very comfortable, well-equipped and relaxing cottage.

Birk How is very well situated in Eskdale Green, above the road so it has good views of the wonderful scenery. Good fun to see and hear the steam trains passing on the narrow gauge railway up the Eskdale Valley. The house is well equipped...More

This house has a great feel to it, you know you're on holiday but you've got everything to hand just like at home. Would love to enjoy its south facing gardens in summer.
