Holiday Rental House
St. Mary's is a part converted 15th Century Church on the edge of the picturesque lake at Talyllyn. This historic building has an amazing Welsh oak roof structure and a Tudor painted ceiling. Many of the original features remain including the pulpit, the organ, font and many of the pews. This stunning part of Snowdonia is famous for its beauty and is an area of Special Scientific Interest. The walk to the summit of Cadair Idris begins on your doorstep, and four miles down the road is the Talyllyn Railway which steams down the valley to Tywyn. A holiday with a difference... We are proud to say that St.Mary's has been given the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014 ... this achievement being all down to so many brilliant reviews from our guests ...and we would like to say a big thankyou to those kind people who have taken time out to write of their experience here at Talyllyn .. Why don't you come and visit us and enjoy the so different and peaceful ambience here at St.Mary's..More

How to get there
Heading down the pass on the A487 ... The lake can be seen ahead of you as you descend...turn at the Mynffordd on to the B4405 toward Talyllyn and Tywyn ...keep the lake on your right and follow it 's length west .. Pass the TynyCornel... and St Mary's is just around the corner... You can turn in just before and park around the back of the old Church. PostCode for SatNav is LL36 9AJ..
