'Off the Beaten Track' - Birchope Byre is a lovingly converted stone byre made of local stone with a slate roof. Situated on a hillside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with glorious views across fields to the rocky Stiperstones ridge.The open plan living room has steps up to a well equipped kitchen/dining area with Belfast sink, granite worktops and Cotswold stone floor.
The luxury bathroom features a Victorian style roll top bath, separate shower, toilet,heated towel rail and hand made oak fittings and reclaimed gothic carvings, perfect for unwinding after a day on the hills.

Birchope Byre is situated 14 miles south of Shrewsbury in The South Shropshire Hills,Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that many people have yet to discover, so is ideal for a relaxing holiday without the crowds, yet with plenty to do. The stunning upland moorland of the Long Mynd is spectacular when the heather is in full bloom, and the drive over The Burway from Birchope Byre in Ratlinghope to the Little Switzerland of Church Stretton is unforgetable. While there, visit the National Trust Carding Mill Valley where children (and adults!) can play in the stream, walk to the Light Spout waterfall and enjoy teas and ice creams in the Pavillion cafe.
