Sailing and kayaking is available on the River Tamar with further opportunities at Siblyback Lake, Roadford Lake, Looe, Fowey, Plymouth, Newton Ferrers, Salcombe, Dartmouth and various other harbours along the south coast. There are a delightful range of beaches on both north and south coasts and fishing locations are available throughout Devon and Cornwall. Property is well equipped with comfortable beds, good quality linens and towels, woodburning stove, oil fired central heating. Dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine. TV and DVD. Plenty of books, DVDs and CDs, board games. Wifi and telephone. BBQ, fire pit, private garden in addition to large grounds with lots of interest. There is plenty of information in the cottage about things to do and places to go in Cornwall and Devon. We have a rustic barn which is a perfect spot to sit and read whilst enjoying the view and a large pond, once again, sit and watch the swallows and dragonflies swoop ! PLEASE NOTE - There is a stream adjacent to the property and a pond in the grounds. Grocery packs can be arranged at a very reasonable cost as well as home made dishes to save cooking on arrival. There is also a small gym in an annexe nearby which you are welcome to use should you be feeling energetic. We also have bicycles which you are free to borrow (The Tamar Trails have miles of safe cycle routes for all the family). More
