The Lodge, Nutwood House is a unique property, once the Factor’s House and part of the Earl of Cromartie estate. It is the West Wing of the historic Nutwood House, set back from the road in a beautiful, peaceful location, approached by a long driveway lined with rhododendrons and beech trees. It is on the edge of the Victorian Spa town of Strathpeffer, with stunning views across the Peffery Valley.The ancient Pictish Eagle Stone is sited near the driveway, steeped in ancient legend and folklore with Brahan Seer’s predictions. Castle Leod is next door to Nutwood House, which was once the Mackenzies ancient seat. All amenities are within easy 5 minutes walking distance. Scottish wildcats have also been spotted in the neighbourhood. Bottle neck dolphins and grey seals are seen regularly in the nearby Moray Firth.The Lodge easily sleeps 4 people and is a great location and base to explore the Highlands as well as a cosy place to enjoy. The Lodge maintains it's character whilst having all modern amenities and is well equipped and comfortable for a great holiday break. More

Absolute perfect family holiday at Nutwood Lodge. Beautiful and well equiped lodge, great surrounding and a very friendly host. Highly recommended, especially for families with children.
