Studio with full bath, kitchenette with induction cook plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, wifi, cable t.v., off street parking, closet, gazebo with bbq, coin op laundry on site. It has a Queen bed and a sleeper couch that makes in to a queen bed, suite capable of sleeping 4 guests. We are located between Kahalu'u Beach (snorkel beach) and Magic Sands beach, both are within walking distance if you want to relax on the local beaches. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing the coast from the suite at night. There is 2 transit systems that run on Alii drive making them very accessible. Also just a 2 minute drive to Keauhou Shopping Center which has grocery store, drug store, post office, restaurants, movie theater, farmers market on Saturday mornings and more. Situated just off the main road to Kona. There is a shopping centre a few minutes drive in one direction, main part of Kona is a few minutes in the other direction. One house back from the road with a bit of traffic noise at times but not too intrusive. Swimmable beaches scattered along the coast within walkable distance although you really need a car to get to the main part of Kona.
It's essentially a one-room self-contained apartment with enough cooking facilities for simple meals. Full-length windows open out with insect screens and a big central ceiling fan for ventilation. No airconditioning but the windows and fan work well and indeed was better than being closed in with an airconditioner. Off-street parking and some shade for the several units that make up this house. Outdoor BBQ facilities available - looked good although we didn't use them. Wifi OK, hardly aware of others in the house.

About the neighbourhood
The house is located 50 yards from the ocean and in a quiet neighborhood. It is a few miles from the hustle and bustle of town, yet still close to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, post office, and an urgent care. It is located just 5 minutes walking distance south to the popular beach Magic Sands. Five minutes north will take you to one of the best snorkeling locations on the island, Kahaluú. It is also a great surf spot for beginners to advanced. There are quite a few surf schools taking place here daily. Town is approximately 4 miles south. There is a trolley that you can take for $2.00. Town consists of several restaurants, coffee houses, bars, and lots of shopping.

Airport: KOA international airport: 8.0 km
When leaving the airport you make a right turn at the signal light on to the highway. After entering on to the highway, drive approximately 5 miles to the 6th signal light which is Palani street. Make a right on to Palani street and follow it through two signal lights at which time it will curve to your left putting you along the ocean front, restaurants and shops. You are now on Alii drive and want to continue through where it will become more residential. Continue driving through two stop signs, after the second stop sign you will come to two residential streets on your left (approximately 1 mile past 2nd stop sign) , the second street is Queen Kalama.
