This delightful third floor, three bedroom apartment is in a small, exclusive complex, Mont Salonica, no more than a five minute walk from the beautiful Arenal beach of Javea. It has an extremely large and totally private roof sun terrace with wonderful panoramic views over the valley and low-lying hills, towards Javea's impressive Mount Montgo. In the apartment itself the spacious lounge and dining areas are elegantly furnished and there is a large and conveniently placed American kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level, two of the bedrooms having the same superb views as the living room and sun terrace. At the the nearby Arenal family beach there is safe bathing, water sports, and a wide promenade with a wonderful array of bars, restaurants and shops. Location ok bit boring for us though. Need a car to go anywhere, buses few and far between. We found it quite expensive. I'd recommend the apartment but the area for us was not to our liking for 2 weeks.More

About the neighbourhood
The old town of Javea has several historical buildings set along narrow winding streets that all seem to lead to the church and market square at the centre. Several times a year the town bursts into life with the colour and noise of a Fiesta, often including bull-running through the streets, and fireworks. The port area is home to a local fishing fleet and a modern marina. Over the years it has also evolved into a trendy lunch and dinner destination with its waterfront restaurants and cafe bars. Dominating the fishing port is the modern silhouette of the Church of Nuestra Señora de Loreto, with its awe-inspiring roof imitating a ships hull. At the wide Blue Flag sandy beach, called the Arenal, is another excellent choice of boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants, and there are also a ...
Getting around
A car is not a necessary requirement for this property as it is located less than 300 meters from the main sandy beach of Javea and various supermarkets. The terrain is mostly flat with large, well maintained pavements and roads to all the local amenities. Javea also operates a very good and well priced bus system and timetable for getting about locally and accessing the Port or Old Town of Javea. However, it may be convenient to have a car for trips further afield or to other towns along the Costa Blanca.
