These apartments are for owners only and not for short term let. You are not allowed to use the facilities and the beach is dirty and you have to cross a busy road to get to it. There are no eating places and decent shopping facilities within walking distance. Again the owners do not like you here. Also short term renting is against the byelaws and you run the risk of losing your deposit. So stay away and use proper designated serviced apartments

I am one of the 500 owners living in this Miami Green Condo and as per the house rule NO short term rental is allow ( also as per Government Body law). If you are renting this place for your holidays you are doing it against the law. You are not welcome here. You are not permitted to use any facilities eg swimming pool, gym etc. This condo is away from shop, super markets, hard to get taxi, and you can't swimming on the beach because human waste is discharged directly to the sea.

The apartment is consistent with the photos and the pool area is a real winner. Although the bedrooms are a little tight, the living room, dining area and kitchen feel spacious. Positives: The apartment is clean, secure and the balcony is large enough to dry clothes. The owner is responsive - we only had 2 bath towels at check-in for our group of 5 and she provided additional towels the next morning. The apartment is located a short walk from the building's mini-market and the security guards and building employees were friendly and helpful. The damage deposit was returned promptly. Drawbacks: The wi-fi is very slow and on a few occasions we just gave up on it. The television receives only 5 local, Malay-language channels and while DVDs were available, only 1 child-appropriate DVD worked. We were informed that we would be charged extra for high electricity usage so we had to carefully monitor our AC usage. The washing machine outlet pipe came lose during use and our young son fell badly in the kitchen as a result. Although a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit, the apartment only had 1 small trash can, which filled up quickly given that we were a family of 5 self catering. Also, there was only 1 small frying pan which made cooking difficult, especially as there wasn't a microwave in the apartment. While the apartment has positive points, it felt that the apartment wasn't really set-up with long-term, large, or self-catering groups in mind which seemed odd to us as we needed to drive 10 minutes to either Batu Ferrenghi or Tanjung Bungha to get take-away food. Consequently, we strongly recommend renting a car.

It is too far from everything. There is no taxi stand and very hard to catch a taxi. If you need fresh milk or any groceries, you need to travel for 30 minutes. There is a small convenient store but they do not have much. TV has only few channels and everything in Malay. We lost our internet connection in the last night (maybe there is a usage limitation). There is a cap in electric usage which is max electric utility of RM250/month. For your rough idea, the consumption rate is RM0.50/hour for 1 hp air cond.

We had a great time. Apartment suited us well. Easy access to the 101 and 102 busses. Sharon was amazing and answered all my queries throughout our stay. Pool was amazing and very child friendly.

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, es ist alles da, was man braucht (grosser Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine etc.) Die Organisation und Kommunikation war sehr gut, der Wachmann wusste Bescheid dass wir kommen und ließ uns ohne Probleme ein. Der Schlüssel war im Safe hinterlegt, Code wurde per E-Mail von Sharon mitgeteilt. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür steht zur Verfügung. Wifi gegen Bezahlung steht zur Verfügung. Es war sauber, die Betten waren bezogen, Handtücher waren da, Waschpulver, Spülmittel, Seife, Shampoo waren vorhanden. Der Poolbereich inkl. Wasserrutsche und mit Kinderspielplatz ist wirklich wunderschön! ABER: Was man wissen sollte: - Die bezahlten 2GB WIfi für 30 Ringgit waren komischerweise nach 1 Tag verbraucht, so als ob sich ein Nachbar mitbedient, so dass wir 2 mal aufstocken mussten - Besser die ganze Wohnung anfangs nach Mängeln untersuchen und Sharon kurz eine Email schreiben, nach Checkout fand Sharon einen Teller bei dem eine Ecke abgeschlagen war (nicht von uns verursacht) und zog dafür 5,5 USD von der Kaution ab - Die Fenster der Küche und der 2 kleineren Schlafzimmer gehen direkt ins Parkhaus, gewöhnungsbedürftig aber ok. Dafür ist der Master-Bedroom mit dem Badezimmer umso schöner. - Bei dem 2. Badezimmer hängt der Duschkopf direkt neben der Toilette, auch gewöhnungsbedürftig aber machbar, der Boden trocknet relativ schnell wieder. - Es ist kein Supermarkt in Fußnähe aber die Busstation ist in 10 min Fuß-Entfernung - Der Strand ist in 10 min. Fuß-Entfernung, ist aber kein Badestrand. Alles in allem war die Wohnung für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr gut geeignet, wir wollten in Penang Freunde besuchen und Zeit gemeinsam verbringen, wir würden die Wohnung empfehlen.

We have traveled Asia for over eight years and this was our first time in Malaysia. Sharon the owner arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and delivered us safely to the condo. The service she provided was unparalleled. If we emailed her she answered within 10-30 minutes and assisted us with whatever we needed without question. I have seen efficiency and have run businesses where you need to be of service and I've never seen anyone run a business like the owner of this condo. She is the most diligent, kind and open individual that I have encountered. She is a perfect business model and anybody will be happy with the service she provides. We appreciated the security and also the convenience store. There is also a swimming pool and gym and a stall down the end of the road selling durian, which made us very happy! But it was the owners that made this stay very special for us. The condo is clean and well equipped. We cooked most of our meals at home and appreciated the kitchen. You can easily get a taxi or bus by walking a couple of minutes to the main road. If you had a car it would be even more convenient. There is a Tesco about 5-10 minutes away and we also found a great organic store with fresh vegetables about 10 minutes by taxi. We would recommend this condo if you want a quiet place to stay that is not too far away from everything.

We can not complain about the condo at all really. It has plenty of room, good bedrooms and bathrooms. We had two children with us, (18 month and 3 1/2 years) and we found the place very good with them. The parking is all but at your front door and there is a lift right there that you can take to level three to use the swimming pool and play ground. The pool is great, there is a toddler pool, a large pool for the bigger people and a water slide that is a lot of fun. The gym has most things a person would need, and the whole area has very good security. There is a small tuck shop for things you might need, very close to the condo. The only down side is, is that its a bit to far to the eating places in town, but it wasn't really that bad if you didn't travel in peak times. The bedroom closest to the car park needs a heaver blind though, to much light from the car park comes in.

My husband I stayed in the condo with our 4 years old girl and it was ideal. The condo was very clean and was safe and quiet. Everything was new in the apartment and my kid loved the pool. It was a five minute walk to the beach and 3 few blocks from the restaurants. There was also a big Tesco nearby and we were scared we wouldn't find parking, but there were tons of street parking and the garage was just in front of our unit! Sharon was very friendly and extremely responsive. Thank you and we look forward to returning!!!

Just 5 minutes drive to Batu Ferringhi, and 10-15 minutes drive to Gurney Plaza, Miami Green is superbly located for a great family getaway. Located just behind the Hydro Hotel, where walk-in guests can enjoy the poolside restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. But, the apartments kitchen is fully appointed with everything you need if you'd prefer to cook at home. The fridge is huge - big enough to accommodate the needs of 4 - 6 adults and a couple of children. The lounge and dining area is spacious, though the lounge area could do with an additional sofa (or a bigger sofa than the one that was there when we stayed) or a couple more single lounge chairs. There's plenty of power-sockets for all of your electronics, but the single bedroom could do with the addition of a power socket as there is none. All of the air-conditioners work very well, and the hot water tanks are big enough for long hot showers. The water pressure isn't fantastic, but it is certainly adequate. There's a water filter in the kitchen so one doesn't necessarily need to stock up on bottled water for the fridge, but this is still advisable for those with sensitive tummies. There's ample wardrobe space, and loads of coat hangers. The cleaning service is available on call and is a small additional charge per visit (minimum of 4 hours, at just RM 15.00 per hour) and they'll even do your ironing. There's an iron and ironing board supplied. It would be great if there was also a vacuum cleaner supplied, but there's was a broom and dust-pan which sufficed. [Part one. to be continued.]
