Penang Island is most well-known for its delicacies from hawker street stalls at a lot of places in Penang. After the cuisine fare, one could go round shopping at the legendary night market in Batu Ferringhi or the many quaint markets around Penang. Picturesque beaches at Batu Ferringhi with breathtaking sceneries make this an ideal holiday destination for couples, families and children and friends. Warm friendly locals make staying here so much more wonderful.

How to get there
If you are travelling via taxi from Penang International Airport in Bayan Lepas, one would pass Queensbay Mall (shopping centre) on the right. Then proceed further and one will be able to see E-Gate with the various eateries like Sushi King, Bread King, Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Subway, and Tesco Jelutong on the left. Here, the roads will divide into 2, one to Greenlane and one to the port. Depending on which way the transportation goes, either one will reach the apartment in around 45 minutes (depending on speed and traffic) from Tesco Jelutong. When you see the Gurney roundabout, then that means you are nearly there, another half an hour to go. Going forwards, there will be Island Plaza on your right and then further down, Tesco Tg Pinang will be on your right too. This shows around another 15mins more to the apartment. Going uphill, you can now see the sea on your right amidst all the trees, up the winding road. At some point, on your left, there will be some monkeys at times, hanging on the branches of the trees. Moving forward, you will be able to see Shangri-la Rasa Sayang Hotel and Golden Sands on your right and then KFC on your left. Just beside this traffic light, will be a petrol station, Petronas, and linked to it, McDonalds and Subway. Now you are nearly there! You will be able to see The Ship; on your right together with Golden Thai Seafood Village, and Starbucks Coffee. A few minutes more you will reach the apartment. Note: An airport taxi for 2-4 person, with light baggage will cost around RM69-RM80, depending on the number of person and the baggages.
