Just returned from a fabulous, relaxing 2 week holiday in Playa Blanca. We normally stay in a hotel, but this time we decided to try the freedom of a holiday rental instead. Casa de Rodas was the perfect place to stay, a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a fantastic location. The house itself is modern, spotlessly clean and the pictures on the website are a true reflection of the property and it's amenities. Great place for 2 adult couples to share as 1 bedroom and bathroom are on the top floor, whilst the other bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor, so the layout offers some privacy. Loads of outdoor space for relaxing, we particularly enjoyed the huge balcony on the first floor which was a great spot for sunbathing. The location is really good, a stones throw to the promenade and, to our surprise and delight, a great little row of shops including a couple of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. We had hired a car but you don't really need one as there is a local bus that runs every 30 minutes, and this takes you all around Playa Blanca. Enrique and Charo were excellent hosts and responded promptly to any questions I had, very kindly they let us stay on a little later than the usual check out time as we had a late flight. Some very minor points that would help to make the experience even more enjoyable, somewhere to hang your towels in each of the bathrooms, some cleaning products to be available on arrival and maybe something to make the ground floor outdoor space a little more private. However, these are just small points and none of them spoilt what was a fantastic stay.
