This detached villa is ideally located in a quiet and private newly completed development 15 to 20 minutes walk from the beach and 25 minutes from the heart of the picturesque village of Playa Blanca (less than 5 minutes by car) in the south of Lanzarote. Spacious accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms with ensuite facilities, 2 twin bedrooms, large bathroom, extra large kitchen, L shaped living / dining room and family room with double sofa bed. Home entertainment includes a 37' flat screen TV with DVD and sound system. Great holiday
We have just returned from a week in this villa, we had a lovely time. The villa is well equipped and has everything you should need. The host responded quickly and was extremely helpful. We contacted the management company once during our stay and they responded and advised us within minutes of my first email to them. Would definitely recommend to families looking for a home away from home.

Villa was great but a few issues
The booking was easy and the host was great. The selling point to this villa is definitely the outside pool area with quality furniture and a great large pool along with the mini golf area. The let down outside was the table tennis table which is rotten and should be removed as it's unsafe and cannot be used. The interior is very tired and smaller than the pictures. The best feature of the interior is the kitchen which has everything you need and modern. The main issue which would stop me returning which is a problem to the owner is the management company. We arrived and I would say the villa was not as clean as expected we found princess balloons from the previous guests and the pool area had not been cleaned and the pool was full of leaves and dirty which was cleaned 3 days in. We had a few issues and contacted the management company who were less than happy to take my call. A guy came round the following morning to resolve the issues which one was with two temporary fixes. He promised to come back on the Wednesday which did not happen after ringing again to be told it was due to an emergency but no update was given until I called. a new fan was dropped off the following day but could not be used as it required to be built and with no screwdriver we left in the box. The window lock was never fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt let down by the management company after paying over £1800 expected a clean Villa with the issues resolved.

Beautiful Villa and good location, although a car handy. To be honest the bathrooms need a really good clean, showers had lots of black slime and mould, just needs a thorough clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, but oven only had one baking tray, which we discovered on Christmas morning when preparing dinner, end up buying disposable BBQ trays to use. The dishwasher doesn’t clean, spoke to Agent who said well it’s very old, so we spent the 10 days hand washing dishes, not ideal as I don’t do it at home. Unheated pool, spoke to agent who came and put heat on, took 3 days to heat so first 6 days, out of 10, a freezing pool. Dangerous broken pool edging tiles. Patio lights don’t work. Large villa, well equipped, loungers, chairs, tables etc, putting green, table tennis, a box of broken and or mouldy toys and kids life jackets. When I booked this the property had great reviews but when I rechecked the reviews they were dated 2019, so probably was immaculate then but nothing has been updated since then. Villa just needs upgrading then it would be perfect.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Unfortunately it should not be relied upon as it is misleading and factually incorrect. The dishwasher works perfectly well, it is a shame you were unable to programme it correctly. The patio lights do work - the switches for them are located on the walls of the bedrooms whose patio doors open onto the pool terrace. The issue with the pool heating was dealt with as soon as you brought it to the attention of the management company, had you done so sooner it would have rectified then, equally any issue with the pool edging tiles would have been addressed if you had any concerns. We have full confidence in the property management company who have been business partners for many years, if any cleaning had been missed you should have reported it to them. You left the villa in a very disappointing condition, with bags of rubbish in various locations, the management company provided photographic evidence of this. Your explanation that you didn't have the code to access the bin area is wrong - it was provided in the email you received together with all the other information that you required which you must have read as you had the other access codes. You also failed to report that a wall mounted light fitting had been broken during your stay which again was disappointing. PH

Playa Blanca 2022
Such a lovely holiday, villa was spacious, clean and perfect for the 7 of us, the pool is bigger than the pictures show so that was a lovely surprise. The welcome package was amazing, all bases were covered. If I were to say anything negative I can only think of 2 things. One of the single beds in the furthest bedroom was so uncomfortable and noisy we had to stop using it, base and mattress need replacing and the only other thing was it was slightly further out than we thought but taxis were so cheap, scooters were available everywhere so it really wasn’t an issue. Thank you for allowing us to use your property for our holiday and I hope to book again soon.

A superb villa
This was our 2nd visit and hopefully not our last. Communications with Patrick pre holiday were excellent .... and any questions promptly answered. The same applies with Ben during our stay. A superb pool and accommodation, the welcome pack was also sufficient and varied.

Great Villa
Villa was spacious and perfect for our needs. Patrick kindly left a nice welcome pack which we really appreciated, as we had a late arrival. Pool area was great, loungers were very comfortable.

BEST holiday ever !!!!
We have had the best holiday, the villa was perfect for us !! It was clean, spacious everything we needed was there !!! Definitely would recommend it !!! We went for 12 nights and there was 6 of us 4 adults and 2 kids (15+16yrs) and we ❤️ every minute of it !! We didn’t want it to end 😔. We also wanted to say a big thank you Jeff (the pool cleaner) and Karen both for being amazing and every helpful. We would come back in a heart beat if we could !! Thank you

Excellent
This was our first villa holiday and could not fault it. The villa is large, a lot bigger than it looks on the pictures. The villa was very clean and well presented, the owner has equipped the villa with everything you would need to make it home from home in order to make it as comfortable as possible. I was really impressed with the welcome pack which consisted of bread, milk, butter, cheese, ham, water, wine, beer and fruit juice - a lovely added touch 😁 The pool was initially what attracted us to this villa as it looked a really good size, it certainly didn’t disappoint. There are ample sun loungers, a large outdoor dining table and chairs, table tennis and 4 hole putting green, which added a little in house entertainment. We ate mainly at the villa during the day and headed out for a meal in the evening. It is approx a 2 mile walk to the centre or a taxi is a 5 minute walk from the villa, costing €3.50. I would have no hesitation in recommending 49 Villas Blanca and would like to take the opportunity to thank the owner for making our first villa experience a great one.

Great for families
We had a great time, the villa had everything that we needed. The location is really ideal. Taxis were only 3 euros to get to the town. There was a nice welcome pack which helped out. There are floats and toys in the garden which saved us buying some. A pool man came during our stay to clean the pool as well which was nice. There is a local shop where you can do top up shops but can be expensive. The location was within walking distance to the water parks. The villa was very well kept and the owner was very helpful throughout the process. I would definitely recommend.

Hi there - thank you for leaving your kind and informative review. It is great to get positive feedback and to hear that everything at the villa was to your satisfaction. As you noted, having the Water Parks in walking distance is a real bonus including the fact that you can go in the morning, return to the villa for lunch and go again at no extra cost in the afternoon - if the kids (or more likely the parents) have the energy! About the neighbourhood
Playa Blanca lies to the south of Lanzarote. This picturesque town was formerly a fishing village which now enjoys a host of amenities from the designer shops in the plush new Marina Rubicon which plays host to some spectacular yachts to the busy restaurants which line the extensive promenade. The ferry terminal in the old port facilitates numerous daily crossings to the port of Correlejo in Fuerteventura. Sandy beaches are a feature of this part of the Island - Playa Flamingo is 15 to 20 minutes walk from the villa, whilst Playa Dorada on the other side of Playa Blanca is great for water sports. There are also 2 new water parks in Playa Blanca with both located within 10 minutes walk of the villa. Playa Blanca has been tastefully developed providing a wonderful and safe environment for the perfect family holiday.
