Un endroit incroyable ... tout y est pour passer un séjour extraordinaire !
Nous n'avons qu'une seule envie : revenir vite à Caixaria pour profiter de son magnifique studio, de sa superbe piscine et de ce beau jardin fleuri et décoré avec soin. La vue depuis la piscine est à couper le souffle.
Et en plus de ce lieu magique, Rosa est une hôte d'exception, toujours aux petits soins pour que tout soit parfait.

Un endroit et un accueil uniques au Portugal !
Nous avons été enchantés de cette semaine passée près de Lisbonne. Rosa et José sont des propriétaires très accueillants, chaleureux et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Le studio est par ailleurs très bien équipé et a beaucoup de charme. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre passage à Caixera.

Everything has been thought of
Rosa's sensitive conversion of the basement of her home, the old grainstore is beautiful. A studio with a seperate bathroom off to the left at the back is modern, tasteful and has everything you need. The open plan kitchen sitter diner has a new ikea kitchen and a digi tv box. You sleep in what I think may have been where grapes would have been squashed under foot to make wine. Steps have been built to access this. The garden and pool are divine but but lack use off season if you dont have the weather. This would be an informed decision of course. Breakfast each morning prepared for you is of course a treat and supermarkets are 20 minutes down the road and we cooked for ourselves every night and had great meals. If you want to bbq, Rosa provides the charcoal and the picnic set, she will even wash all that up for you. The accomodation is well located to explore the whole region, but is not suitable if you wish to dine out every night and dont want to drive. We didn't want to that and booked this accomodation for a chill. Perfect, thank you Rosa.

Wow, can anyone top this place, we think not
Excellent accommodation for two people in a traditional Portuguese setting. Fantastic welcoming basket, lovely hosts, great breakfasts. lovely rooftop area with plenty of space for dining and sunbathig with good views. Added bonus of a swimming pool. Rosa and Jose go that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Situated in an area with easy access to many towns and historical areas, coast not far away. You do need a car but your options are endless depending of what sort of holiday you are looking for. A great get away from it all place to relax away from everyday life but many areas to visit if you want days out. You do go upstairs for breakfast and for use of the rooftop facilities so might be a bit of a issue if mobility a problem. We have nothing but praise for this place and the owners. Already recommending it to our friends, we will be back

Um Sossego absoluto com uma vista fantástica
Um espaço fantástico, muito funcional e prático, e decorado com imenso bom gosto.
É um local onde se sente o verdadeiro silêncio da natureza, em que se consegue realmente relaxar. A vista é maravilhosa e a piscina uma delicia.

The best guesthouse in portugal
Grab yourselves a bargain before it gets fully booked!
We can't wait to return to this stunning guesthouse where everything has been perfectly thought of and with the most helpful hosts who provide the most delicious breakfast, help when asked but leave you in peace to enjoy at other times.
The swimming pool is gorgeous and we hope to return in the summer to use it.
