There are many fantastic beaches throughout the area. There is a large Nudist Beach and community which is situated near Villaricos about 7 Km away. It is a 5 minute drive to Vera playa water Park and local Golf courses. There are local Markets, at Mojacar Pueblo on a wednesday, and Garrucha on a friday, these are well worth a visit and a great place to buy the local produce. The fishing village of Garrucha is famous for its fish restaurants which boast a great variety of fish dishes on their menus, the daily catch is displayed at 5pm. The lively town of Mojacar has an idyllic mix of sugar cubed white washed buildings and narrow winding streets with Moorish architecture. The main square is filled with restaurants, bars boutiques and shops overlooking the snow-capped peaks of the sierra-nevada mountains.

The apartment is situated in a gated complex about a 9 minute walk from the beach. At the beach where there are bars and restaurants there is a promenade that can take you to the nearby town of Garrucha, about 2 km away, in Garrucha there are lovely beaches, many bars and good restaurants. On the road by the apartment a bus passes, the bus stop is about 100m away, this bus passes through Garrucha to the beaches, bars and restaurants of Mojacar Playa. The busses can also take you to the Waterpark about 5km away and to the charming town of Vera. The motorways to the airports of Almeria, Murcia and Alicante are about a 10 minute drive from the apartment.
