About the neighbourhood

Cangas de Onis is located inside the East of Asturias, 25 km from the Lagos de Covadonga, within the National Park Picos de Europa, also 25 km from the coast and 65 km from Oviedo capital. Cangas de Onis is a strategic point for tourism in Asturias holiday due to its geographical location. It is ideal to combine mountain and beach holiday, even on the same day: you can make a route mountain peaks and swim in the sea in the afternoon. Another main attraction is the active tourism.

Getting around

The most practical and comfortable to transport medium is the area the car, although in high season certain routes, like the ascent to the Covadonga Lakes is restricted to private vehicles, being mandatory the use of public transport.
