We are a mere 5 minutes drive from the famous surf spot Freights Bay, which you can actually see from your balcony. Speak to Bodie for information about his No 1 rated surf school The School of Surf and anything related to water sports on the island. The house itself is spacious, with 3 sizable bedrooms that will easily sleep 6 adults, a bright and breezy living room that looks out to the ocean and an open plan kitchen/diner. There is one bathroom with a heated shower as well as an outdoor shower. A long list of amenities is provided, meaning you will want for nothing other than to get your toes wet and sandy as soon as you arrive :) There’s also lots of room in the garden surrounding the house and we provide a picnic table, sun loungers, a hammock, cooler and a BBQ so that you can spend time enjoying the Caribbean outdoor lifestyle. Small private functions are allowed such as BBQs and birthday parties but no unreasonably loud music or big crowds on the property at any time. Smoking is outdoors only! There are ashtrays in the garden - please use them and don't throw any butts in the garden or on the beach. Air conditioning is strictly for use in the bedrooms and must be turned off when not in use. The water heater, cooker and all appliances must be turned off when not in use. Please RECYCLE. A bin will be provided for you.

About the neighbourhood
Our location makes us very unique. Having a private driveway gives the feeling of seclusion but we are walking distance from Oistins where you can find the local fish market which is littered with small kiosks serving the best value meals on the island. There is also a 24 hr convenience store, post office and a shopping plaza with a supermarket, hardware store, bank, petrol station and more. Closer to home there is a small convenience store and Chinese restaurant across the street and literally at the end of your private driveway there is the best *roti shop on the island! The area is well lit and not known for any criminal activity.
Getting around
The cheapest way to travel is by bus. US$1.75 will take you anywhere along that bus's route regardless of distance traveled, however you may need to take multiple buses depending on your destination. One of the major bus routes passes directly outside our private driveway and the nearest bus stops are only seconds away. The most enjoyable way to travel around is to rent a car and explore the island at your own leisure. The island is small and driving around is quite easy but we do recommend using a navigation system such as google maps or waze to help you with directions, as the roads are not well sign posted. We also drive on the left side of the road. If you are not comfortable with driving on that side then taxis are another easy option.
