We are very excited to be able to invite guests to book a stay in this fabulous maisonette apartment. Having been recently renovated throughout, the owner has put a lot of thought in to ensuring comfort and convenience for guests. He has created a breathtaking contemporary space with a retro twist. The furnishings have been hand picked and sourced to give the apartment its truly unique look. Spread over two floors, the apartment occupies the first and second floors of a three storey building. There is access from the front and the rear, both of which have steps that lead up to the apartment. The furnishings have been hand picked and sourced to give the apartment its truly unique look. Spread over two floors, the apartment occupies the first and second floors of a three storey building. To the front is a communal reception area with an original Victorian tiled floor that has been been preserved and restored. Once upstairs, the landing opens up and leads to the shower room, kitchen, second bedroom and the lounge at the front of the property. To the second floor is the master bedroom. The kitchen is beautifully designed with an open plan feel and large dining space. There are a range of integrated appliances which include an oven, grill, hob and dishwasher as well as free stranding appliances such as a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Guests have access to a washing machine and the courtyard garden has an outside drying space for any washing or sandy towels! The second bedroom can be made up with either two single beds or a king size bed depending on the requirements of guests. If you let us know your arrangements when you book and we can make sure the apartment is set up ready for you on arrival. The shower room comprises of a lovely, large walk in shower with a rainfall shower head, WC and sink unit with mirror over. At the front of the property you have the lounge with its beautiful bay window providing sea views where you can enjoy looking out and watching the world go by or you can indulge with a glass of wine on the balcony. There is plenty of comfortable seating with a large L shaped settee and a high backed chair. There are stairs leading up from the lounge to the master bedroom on the first floor. This room can actually accommodate up to 4 people as there is a king size bed and an additional sleeping area alongside. The master bedroom has been designed with a raised platform that has been custom built in to the eaves of the roof space. It's the perfect space for your children to create their own den whilst on holiday! With the exposed beams, roof windows and wooden floor, this really is a stunning space. The house is centrally located in the heart of Porthcawl town and all that it has to offer. It's just a few hundred yards from the seafront, several local beaches and much more! Parking is available on the street without restrictions and there are long stay car parks nearby. Bed linen and towels are provided. Children are more than welcome. Regretfully we cannot accommodate pets at this property. PLEASE NOTE: These prices are intended as a guide. Rates will vary throughout the year depending on the seasons, demand for accommodation and events, for example, the Elvis Festival, Golf Open Days, New Year and some Bank Holiday periods. There will also be a booking fee which will vary depending on your method of payment. There is a minimum booking requirement of 3 nights. Check in days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the time is flexible. Booking Terms and Conditions: A 25% deposit will be required upon booking with final balance payable 4 weeks prior to your stay, where appropriate. We will also request a security deposit of at least £150 for each booking which will need to be paid upon or prior to arrival and will be held until the end of your stay. This is something we ask of all guests as a precaution against damage and will be returned within 7 days of your departure. We also charge a cleaning fee of £25 per booking. We look forward to hearing from you! Local Area Information Porthcawl is a beautiful seaside town with a variety of activities for all. We have the funfair on Coney Beach, Porthcawl marina which has recently undergone regeneration (and there is more to come with the Harbourside development project) and a calendar full of festivals and carnivals. There are several restaurants and pubs within the town itself and the surrounding villages, each with something different to offer, including a wide choice of menus and award winning ales. The Hi-tide Inn specialises in cabaret but if that’s not for you, have a look at what’s on at the Grand Pavilion. As you can imagine, Porthcawl is popular for its outdoor pursuits and surfing is a way of life for many here. If you’ve never experienced it, try one of our local, well reviewed surf schools.
