Ardvaig is a comfortable three bedroom property located in Ormsaigbeg at the far end of the picturesque village of Kilchoan in Ardnamurchan. The property has spectacular views over the Sound of Mull, Kilchoan Bay and to the east, the dramatic outline of Ben Hiant. It is ideally located for the village shop, and is only a short stroll from the friendly local pub, serving food every day, as well as the tearoom, play park and ferry crossing to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Comfortably furnished, with three bedrooms, the house is well suited to a small family and has a lovely open fire for sitting around on evenings when it's a wee bit cooler. It has a colourful terraced garden to the back of the property with space to sit outside and enjoy the panoramic views. The area was lovely and worth the drive, but in the 12 years we have being doing holiday cottages this is by far the worst we have come across, from the carpets, cupboards and the beds were all filthy. The garden is advertised as dog...More

The house is well equipped and has great views, nice garden space and plenty of space. It is well worthy if you don't bother about breathing. Its carpets are very old, dirty and a huge habitat of dust mites. As a result, you can easily...More

The large picture window in the lounge gave amazing views across to Mull and islands beyond, with constantly-changing sea and skies, and promise of wildlife. We saw dolphins on our first morning, and otters on the shore. The cottage is spacious, well equipped and very...More
