The beach promenade is 7km long and great for walking,cycling, running. about 10 minutes walk from the house
Area is flat and good for all ages. New electric awanning in front of sun lounge . Sun umbrella lower terrace.
The house has been recently painted, new kitchen and appliances, washing machine , well equipped with blender, orange juicer, etc. ex large shower in en suite, sun lounge overlooks pool and pool is more or less private as only few residents use it. Large roof solourim with loungers, table and chairs ,lower terrace with table and chairs. Border wall garden will solar lights for evening relaxing .

We’ve just returned from a fantastic 10 day stay at this lovely bungalow in Los Alcázares with my husband and 2 children ages 7 and 4. It’s the 3rd time we’ve visited this resort but this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. Great location, amazing roof terrace that gets the sun all day, lovely pool directly opposite which never got too busy which the kids loved. The bungalow itself is nice and spacious and has absolutely everything you need including air con and bbq which we used a few nights of our stay. We also had nights out and all restaurants and bars are in close walking distance. Would definitely recommend this bungalow and thanks to Muriel for being such a hospitable host, always available if we needed anything. Hopefully we will return!

Casa Maria
Casa Maria is a lovely villa in a great location.
Muriel was a great host, always on hand with prompt responses to any questions before and during our stay. She was very helpful in arranging the airport transfers for us & let us stay at the villa later on our last day as we had a night flight.
Muriel and Neil really have thought of everything making the villa a home from home experience. The villa was spotlessly clean & is as exactly as shown in the pictures.
The pool area is literally to seconds across the way from the villa. It’s a shared pool with residents & holiday makers from the surrounding villas (only accessed with a key). The pool area is well maintained. We had the pool to ourselves on a number of occasions and never had to share it with more than 3-4 families. The only downside for us was that there are no sun loungers around the pool, only chairs. However we just used to sunbathe at the villa & hop across to the pool when we got too hot.
Los Alcázares is a lovely location, still typically Spanish & not built up, which we loved. There are a few Spanish bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk from the villa which were very popular, especially with the locals. About 10 minutes from the villa you have the plaza with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, (although not typically Spanish). This is where most of the tourists go. We found them all to be very reasonably priced, (average €60-€80 for 4 adult meals & drinks) Our favourite were Hemingway’s, Little Sciclly and The Curry Leaf.
There’s a Lidl & Aldi close by, but we just used the local supermarket which was 5 minutes around the corner from the villa, and had a bakery & fresh meat & cheese counter within it. Again very reasonably priced.
The beach was lovely, with a long promenade to stroll along with a handful of beach bars. We hired 2 sunbeds for the day which was only €7 for both.
Get down there early though as it does get very busy.
If you are looking for a chilled holiday to relax, this is the place for you!
We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay
Great stay , villa is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay , air conditioned throughout, pool is 15 seconds from the front gate . Would highly recommend

Another perfect week
Another great stay here. Has absolutely everything to cater for all tastes. Sun upstairs, partial sun downstairs, shady lounge to get the breeze and snooze. Air con indoors if you just can't stand it. 20 foot to the pool to keep cooling down.
Every kitchen appliance and accessories you would need.
10 mins to the beach, 3 to a shop, 10 to supermarkets, 5 to bars and restaurants.
Not sure how it can be improved but the owners keep doing it.
New sinks, new furniture indoors and out!
Do you wonder why we keep returning?

Home from home!
Lovely villa. Homely feel. Everything well thought through for easy convenience.
Labels for tv use, travelplugs, etc.
Spotless and clean. Fabulous patio areas.
Plenty of space. Great local bars , shops, pharmacy and supermarkets in near proximity.
Will definitely be booking again .

Fantastic
We have stayed at this beautiful bungalow twice and it has everything even your pool just outside. 4 spanish bars within 4mins walk and Beach 10 mins walk. The Boluvard with many Bars and restaurants only 15mins walk. The bungalow is in a great location and all photos on Web site are perfect and more. Muriel and Neil are great hosts. We shall be back.

Family holiday
I have just got back from a fantastic holiday with my husband, 6 year and 10 month old son’s. I have been coming to los Alcazares for 10 years and this is by far the best villa I have stayed in, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was really spacious, light and well equipped. The roof solarium is huge and the court yard is decorated with pretty fairy lights which come on as the sun goes down. The communal pool is directly opposite the front door of the villa which isn’t clear from the picture but was a welcomed surprise particularly with having a young baby. It is quiet but has shops, bars and the market almost on the door step plus it is only a short walk to the beach and our favourite beach bar Chirringuito Teis. Lastly and by no means least is to mention our host Muriel who is quick to respond to any queries and stayed in contact throughout our stay to check everything was to our satisfaction. I would definitely stay here again.

It's like visiting friends
I agree with everything previously written about this beautiful house.
It's as if you are visiting friends - some rentals are empty and devoid of personality - this place has loads and is someone's lovely home that you can feel they look after and maintain to a high standard.
It is very quiet at night, the air con and bedroom fans offer welcome relief, the kitchen is amazingly stocked. (we played a little game to come up with a utensil that was not there!) ensuite is beautiful.
It's the little things that add up that are too numerous to mention - like a shopping trolley and a cooler bag so your ice creams don't melt on the way back from the supermarket.
I'd rather you didn't book if I was being selfish as it will make it harder for us to get availability when we inevitably return....very soon.

Great Villa
We knew from the word go this was going to be a great holiday. The attention to detail and communication before our arrival was spot on. A quick phone call from airport and we were met at the villa and settled within an hour of landing! I would highly recommend this beautiful, very clean, spacious, well equipped bungalow, it is real home from home with all the added touches that makes it so much more than just a holiday villa. It is by far the prettiest and most welcoming in the area and with the beach and plaza nearby and the pool 10 steps from the door – why go anywhere else?

Los Alcázares (Spanish: [los alˈkaθaɾes], locally: [lɔʰ aɾˈkæθæɾɛʰ]) is a municipality and a coastal spa town and former fishing village on the western side of the Mar Menor in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain.
The Mar Menor (little sea) belongs to three other municipalities: San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena and is Europe's largest saltwater lagoon.
