Situated on the Albatros complex - Paul's Place is a lovely modern fully furnished house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and benefits from a large communal pool and separate children's pool. The complex is secure with gated access and located in a peaceful area, although only 500 metres from the main Plaza with a host of bars, restaurants and shops and is just a 10-minute stroll to the local beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. The property benefits from air conditioning/heating in the living room and the two upstairs bedrooms, ceiling fans are placed in the lounge and in all 3 bedrooms, a safe has been installed in the main bedroom and a high chair and travel cot are available at no extra cost. The house is equipped to a high standard including flat screen smart TV & X box along with a selection of Xbox games & DVDs. 50mb fibre internet is installed and IPTV TV with full sky package including sky sports and Sky movies. IPTV also comes with a full movie package, box sets and catch up TV. If you require Wi-Fi for personal use, it is available for a small charge of 10€ per stay (month). The Kitchen, which is separate, is fully equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine and the utility room houses sun loungers and chairs for you to use.
There is outdoor space to the front of the property with a stone BBQ, table and chairs for 6 and the private roof terrace is also equipped with a stone BBQ, seating area and sun loungers. The roof terrace is lit at night by festoon lights giving a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The whole area is very flat which is ideal for mobility equipment and children in prams. This is a real home from home and is intended to make your stay with us relaxing and enjoyable. PLEASE NOTE there is a 75€ fee for cleaning, payable on arrival.

We’ve just returned from a lovely 6 week stay in Paul’s house, and we really can’t recommend it enough, a real home from home. There was everything we needed for our stay, we cooked many full meals, and did all our washing, including our bedding which dried beautifully on the roof sun terrace. We just lounged around in the evenings that we didn’t go out, on a really comfortable sofa, watching tv with every UK channel we could possibly want. The beds, towels, pillows and bedding supplied were good quality and also very comfy, with extra pillows and bedding if needed.
There is a good new heating system, and it’s worth spending some time reading the info to understand how to use it. Also there is a helpful information file on everything you might need to know, a worthwhile read with a cuppa or glass of wine maybe!
The complex is beautifully maintained and landscaped, and if you need any help Louise, or their local property support Linda and Neil, are really quick to offer help or advice if you need it. We loved it so much we rebooked for next year before we left, and can’t wait.

Fabulous!!
We have just returned from a week's holiday in Paul's Place and it is excellent. The house has everything you could possibly need for a holiday and is very clean and very well presented.
The air con in the upstairs bedrooms and lounge/dining area is great and each room has a ceiling fan to keep you cool when the air on isn't necessary. The upstairs bedrooms have huge fitted wardrobes with more hanging space than you'd ever need.
The roof terrace and front garden provide ample space for everyone to relax while also providing the opportunity for a bit of personal space for some peace and quiet. The front garden also has the benefit of providing some much needed shade from the sun in the late afternoon.
The owner couldn't have been more helpful and communication was excellent. They provided a useful welcome pack and also arranged transfers from/to the airport which was great. Linda (who met us on arrival) and her husband are very friendly, helpful and on hand if needed.
We have stayed at The Albatross complex a few times and I can honestly say Paul's Place has been the best. Last year we booked our holiday through Villa Plus and in my opinion Paul's Place is far better.
The Albatross complex is secure, clean and well maintained. The lifeguarded pool is lovely and surprisingly, doesn't get too crowded. I also noticed the presence of security guards patrolling overnight which gives additional peace of mind.
We will definitely be looking to book Paul's Place again!!

Wow wow wow!
We stayed for ten days here and it was just lovely. The complex was safe, secure and immaculately kept. Paul’s place is fantastic, right near the pool. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and more! The house is exceptional. We can’t wait to return. Last note - the owners help with arrangements , correspondence and thoughtfulness to details was outstanding. We have a daughter with special needs and we are very grateful for all the help they provided in making our holiday possible.

About the neighbourhood
Few regions are lucky enough to have a salt-water lagoon beside the Mediterranean Sea. Along its 73km coastline, there are numerous beaches with crystal clear, shallow water making it very safe for children. The Mar Menor lagoon covers an area of 170 km2, making it the biggest salt-water lake in Europe. In the coolest months the temperature of the water is about 12°C while in August it reaches 30°C. The Mar Menor is listed by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places on earth. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the Salinas, which is said to be full of nutrients. With many cafes & bar dotted along the beach, it's a great way to spend the day & soak up the sun.
Getting around
Bus's and taxis are available nearby if you fancy venturing further afield. Also, there are two companies which operate day trips if you would like to get out and about and see more of Murcia or would like to enjoy one of the waterparks (ask for details).
