Interaction with guests:Â
The hosts live outside the area, but are always able to answer questions about the house or the local area. The app that is sent to guests also has lots of information about what to do around the cottage as well as a guide to the cottage.
There is 24 hour a day support for someone to come to the cottage if you need help and the phone number will be given to you shortly before your stay.
Prior to arrival, guests will receive access to our app that details many ideas about where to go and what to do for your stay, we also try to showcase local things to do through our social media channels - browsing pages we have liked on Facebook is probably the most efficient way of finding things that might interest you as there's a huge variety!
Getting around
Due to the rural location, most people prefer to arrive by car. If you are arriving by air, Norwich Airport has good car hire facilities and if you are arriving by train, then there are a number of companies to choose from in Norwich.
Our nearest Train Station is Hoveton and Wroxham, which is located four miles from the cottage, however there are no nearby car hire companies so we recommend travelling only as far as Norwich if you need to collect a car.
There are many attractions close by to Thatch Cottage and it is possible to enjoy a stay without a car. Broadland Cycle Hire will even ensure that there are bicycles delivered to the cottage for your arrival and they also have some great resources for car free travellers.
