We have lived in Ebford for 21 years and built our, beautiful new home on the same site, replacing our beloved old one, in 2012. We have rented many, many, family holiday accommodations over the years and realise at times it is difficult to find someone & somewhere who is flexible with adding an additional child or the dates for example, we therefore try to be as helpful as possible! The Loft is a one bedroom apartment, which can sleep five and is attached to the rear of our property, above our garages. It has it's own access via steps up onto the balcony. It's in beautiful, peaceful, surroundings and overlooks our paddock and the award winning Pebblebed Vineyards. The Loft is a one bedroom apartment, which can sleep five and is attached to the rear of our property, above our garages. It has it's own access via steps up onto the balcony. It's in beautiful, peaceful, surroundings and overlooks our paddock and the award winning Pebblebed Vineyards. The Loft has a, very, spacious open plan, living area, with a compact kitchenette, dining area, lounge area and has a sleeping area with a king size bed. It has a small hall way leading to an en suite shower room and a large bedroom with a double bed (there is room for a single bed for an additional 3rd child in this room, which can be supplied). The balcony is a beautiful place to sit and relax, after a days adventuring with a cream tea or a barbeque with a nice chilled drink to watch the sun go down. Please note the Loft does not have a conventional cooker or hob, it does however have a microwave, a table top mini oven with a double hotplate, toaster, sandwich maker & full size gas barbeque outside, with a gas ring, making it an ideal holiday accommodation. We have an identical barbeque & because the temperature reaches so high with the hood down you can opt to roast your food, such as chicken pieces, fish, chips, potato wedges etc, which gives it a tender, succulent finish. With the lid up you can cook using the traditional direct BBQ method which produces equally tasty results. The Loft has been designed for short term holiday lets, not long term, and therefore does not have laundry facilities, such as a washing machine. Due to the lack of facilities for long term guest, there is a maximum stay of 2 weeks. Ebford is a beautiful Hamlet, 5 mins from Junction 30 the M5, 15 mins from Exeter Airport, 5 mins from the beautiful Topsham. It is on the route of the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail, 5 mins away from the Estuary and 10 mins away from Woodbury Common, great for Mountain Biking. It is also only 10 mins from the beaches of Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and the Jurassic Coast.Our children are grown up now, so there are just the two of us living in the main property with our, lovable, black lab Alfie. The property will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival & we kindly ask guest to vacate by 10am on the day of departure (Unless discussed & arranged with owners). This allows the property to be thoroughly cleaned & prepared for the next guest. More

Ebford is a beautiful, quiet, little, Hamlet, nestled between Exeter and Exmouth It gives the impression of being in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by picturesque, rolling, hills and fields, yet is only five minutes from the M5. It became famous and hit the media headlines when Princess Di used to visit Ebford and the Hewitt Family and go horse riding along Ebford Lane.
